For the past two years up to this day, the number of owners trying to get out of their timeshares had dramatically increased. With the recent economic meltdown also, a number of timeshare companies had been shut down for operation. But one of the timeshare industry’s giant has more reasons to celebrate aside from conquering the past two year’s challenges. Last year, RCI which is the global leader in vacation exchange, celebrated its 35th year in the industry. This is a milestone achieved by building some of the strongest relationships in the business.
There are as many as 513 RCI affiliates across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India have been affiliated with RCI for more than 15 years and have helped to build the company’s exchange network of over 4,000 affiliated resorts, thus, making it the world’s largest vacation exchange company.
On the other hand, the ARDA 2010 event will give RCI representatives the opportunity to meet with some of the company’s oldest and most valued affiliates to acknowledge and celebrate some special anniversaries. According to Jonathan Back, managing director, RCI EMEAI, all their developers have succeeded in this business by putting customer service first and RCI shares those values, which means their shared owners and members can rely on RCI to deliver the very best in vacation exchange experiences. He added that the key to RCI’s success is its relationships with their resort developer partners and the people responsible for their unrivalled portfolio of vacation resorts.
Recently, the timeshare industry has been faced with challenges like low sales and the number of owners trying to get rid of their timeshares. Unfortunately, for a few timeshare companies, they did not make it as some of them filed for bankruptcy and some shut down for operation. But emerging in this industry and stays profitable amidst the recent crisis and challenges can be considered a great achievement. This is what the RCI had achieved and for the number of years that they operate in this industry, they have all the reasons to celebrate.
