Transfer Smart News: Mexican Timeshare Resort Joins Interval International

Exchanging a timeshare to other units is one of the great advantages of owning such property. That’s why instead of getting out from their timeshares due to its hefty fees, many owners still hold on to their units. But here’s good news   for those who own a timeshare in Mexico. Recently, the Interval International has announced that the Welk Resorts Cabo in Sirena del Mar has joined its global holiday exchange network. With these, the owners in the area can exchange their units in other parts of the globe as long as it part of the said exchange network.

On the other hand, the timeshare owners have learned that it is the sixth Welk property to have become part of Interval’s network. The resort overlooks the Sea of Cortez which is close to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico. It offers timeshare owners numerous facilities, including two pools, a spa, thatched palapas as well as a fire pit. There is also a swimmable cove beach, while all units will feature whirlpool tubs, numerous flat screen TVs and complimentary internet access.

According to Craig M Nash, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Interval Leisure Group, the location of the said resort is fantastic and that his organization was particularly proud to add such a place to its network.

Today, most consumers view timesharing as nothing but a financial drain to its owner. Lots of stories also can be heard regarding many owners who are trying to get rid of their timeshares. Some of these owners even hire a timeshare transfer company such as the Transfer Smart. While many negative opinions have been thrown to timeshare ownership, timeshare exchange can be an attractive feature that consumers will watch out for regarding timeshare ownership.
